Horse Riding

Riding a horse is one of the most beautiful ways to discover new places, with journeys of a few hours or several days.
Andes Crossing
Mendoza, San Juan

Experience a unique adventure following the steps of General José de San Martín, when he crossed the Andes with his army in 1817.
In Mendoza, one of the most classic routes San Martín took starts from Manzano Histórico, near the city of Tunuyán. Following an ancestral path of mule drivers through the Portillo crossing, you can reach the Piuquenes crossing that goes to Chile, both at more than 4,000 metres above sea level. This is a demanding riding due to the height; it lasts a week and takes place from November to April.
In San Juan, another of the routes of San Martín begins in Barreal and crosses the Andes Mountain Range through Paso de los Patos in a 100-kilometre journey of 6 days, between 3,000 and 4,500 metres above sea level.
