Las Leñas Valley
Mendoza

In the heart of the Andes Mountains and 80 kilometres from Malargüe, you will find Las Leñas, a high-mountain ski resort with the foot at 2,240 metres above sea level, and the summit at 3,430 metres above sea level.
It offers ski classes, off-piste snowboarding, and adapted skiing. There are different accommodation options in Las Leñas, where you can live in the mountains all day long. If you travel with your family, you can all enjoy the snow in the adventure park, with games and sledges. You can also have a totally different experience practising night skiing.

Chapelco
Neuquén

Near San Martín de los Andes, you will find the Chapelco ski resort. It has 28 slopes with different difficulty levels, nestled by forests that protect them from the wind, in the middle of a superb landscape at 1,880 metres above sea level.
It has 12 lifts, ski and snowboard schools, adapted skiing, and equipment rental. There are round-trip transfers to the mountain from San Martín.

Cerro Bayo
Neuquén

The Cerro Bayo ski resort extends along a beautiful panoramic path in front of Lake Nahuel Huapi, very close to Villa La Angostura.
It has 24 slopes with 4 difficulty levels and 4 off-piste itineraries. You can practise skiing and snowboarding, and there are snow parks for freestyle, snow tubing (where you can slide down, spin, and whirl, enjoying the adrenaline of the snow), adapted skiing, and snowshoeing in the company of guides.

Caviahue
Neuquén

Cerro Caviahue, 360 kilometres northwest of Neuquén, is a family ski resort immersed in a protected natural area with towering ancient araucarias. Its privileged location on the high Andes Mountains guarantees the best quality and the greatest amount of snow all along winter.
Its foo is at 1,650 metres above sea level and only 2km from the center of Caviahue, it has 13 lifts, 22 slopes, and a ski and snowboard school.

Cerro Catedral
Río Negro

One of the most traditional ski centers in Andean Patagonia and the largest in South America with 1,200 skiable hectares. It is only 19 km from Bariloche and has incredible views of the Andes Mountains and the Nahuel Huapi and Gutiérrez lakes.
The base is a thousand meters high and there you will find everything: mountain services, accommodation and gastronomic options. Its almost 30 means of elevation reach up to 2,388 meters above sea level and it has 60 descent tracks for all levels. There are also schools with programs for all ages, levels and styles of skiing, snowboarding, Nordic or cross-country skiing. There are also snow parks for off-piste freestyle.

La Hoya
Chubut

Just 12 kilometres from Esquel, on La Hoya mountain, there is a historic ski resort for all ages, with ascents and activities for non-skiers as well.
It is an ideal place to learn to ski because its beginner slope is wide, safe, and has all the services. If you are a more advanced athlete, there are gorges for off-piste skiing with good quality snow.

Cerro Castor
Tierra del Fuego, Antártida e Islas del Atlántico Sur

In Valle de Tierra Mayor, Cerro Castor winter resort unfolds, where you can practise alpine skiing and other modalities, such as cross-country or Nordic skiing, a very popular activity in Fuegian winter that can be enjoyed by professionals and amateurs of all ages. The snowy valleys and the longest season in South America (from July to September) offers the best conditions to practise this sport, and that is why Ushuaia was declared the National Capital of Cross-Country Skiing.
Other adventures you can embark on here are: snowshoeing, snowboarding, riding snowmobiles, and taking a ride on a sled pulled by Siberian dogs.

Cerro Perito Moreno
Río Negro
25 km north of El Bolsón, the Perito Moreno hill invites you to practice alpine and Nordic skiing and snowboarding while enjoying the snowy forests. It has 24 skiable km distributed in 16 slopes. In addition, you can snowshoe, cross-country ski and enjoy sleigh rides.
The hill has a gastronomy area and a mountain refuge, with rooms to accommodate up to 60 people.

Batea Mahuida
Neuquén
Just 10 km from Villa Pehuenia, Batea Mahuida is a snow park managed by the Mapuche Puel community. It is ideal for skiing and snowboarding, hiking, sledding or snowmobiling, while you enjoy views of the araucaria forests, sheltered from the wind. At the base of the hill there is a restaurant-confectionery and recreation areas to play with the snow and have picnics.
The extinct Batea Mahuida volcano combines natural beauty with the history and culture of the community, historical inhabitants of these lands. In its crater there is a lagoon, and from the summit you can see the Icalma volcano, on the Chilean side, and the Moquehue and Aluminé lakes, on the Argentine side.

Lago Hermoso
Neuquén
This ski center, the youngest in Argentina, is located 35 km from San Martín de los Andes and 76 from Villa La Angostura, within the Lanín National Park, on the Route of the Seven Lakes. It is the first and only one in South America to have a carbon footprint program, committed to environmental preservation and restoration.
With two lifts and tracks for intermediate, advanced and expert levels, it also has a Freestyle Park for snowboarding and freeskiing. If you want to live other experiences, there are also horseback riding, snowshoeing and a refuge that can only be reached by cross-country skiing or snowmobiling. Lago Hermoso has a limited space (only 800 people can enter per day) and it is perfect if you are starting to practice skiing, since it has an accessible beginners sector.
