Although these rivers are the best known, you can also go rafting on the Neuquén, Nahueve, Lileo, Varvarco and Barrancas rivers (departures from the town of Andacollo). Atuel Canyon
Mendoza
The rapids of the Atuel River are one of the main destinations in Argentina for rafting. They are in Valle Grande, 30 kilometres from the city of San Rafael, from where the rubber-boat excursions depart. The tours vary in distance and duration, and are suitable for everyone.
If you travel in summer, the river flow is larger and the rapids become more intense (and fun!). If you go in winter, the flow and speed is lower, ideal for you to contemplate the landscape and the rocks submerged under the crystal-clear water.
