What to see
The most popular beaches in Rosario are La Florida and Rambla Catalunya. Another recommended option is to cross the river from the northern coast to Invernada Island, which offers a view of the Rosario-Victoria Bridge.
You can also visit Banquito de San Andrés, a small island with several bars, well-known as a quiet place to enjoy the day.
Waterfall and Reserve
About 40 km to the south of Rosario, you will find Pavón Waterfall, an 8-metre cascade on the plains that flows into the Paraná River.
Going 20 km more to the south, northeast of Villa Constitución, the Isla del Sol Municipal Natural Reserve protects the wetlands in the Delta ecoregion and Paraná islands, and is the perfect place to observe the flora, watch birds, go kayaking or biking. Entrance is free, but reservation is required.
Beach life between Rosario and Santa Fe
In the city centre of Santa Fe, the beaches on the east and west promenade and the beaches of Santo Tomé, Sauce Viejo and Coronda are optimal places to relax, enjoy beach life, water sports and fishing. Moreover, Coronda hosts the International Open Water Swimming Race. Coronda is also popular for its delicious strawberries.
