Andes Fueguinos (RN 3)
Tierra del Fuego
A route that will immerse you in the magic of the Fuegian forest, among brilliant lengas and coihues. You will go through the viewpoint of the Carbajal valley, from where you can see one of the largest peat bogs on the island of Tierra del Fuego, and in the Tierra Mayor valley, the mountains will be very, very close, showing you all the textures of its walls and peaks.
Little by little, the route will gain height until you reach the Garibaldi pass where you will cross the Andes Mountain Range at its southernmost point. At the viewpoint, stop to contemplate the immensity of two lakes that were once glaciers: Escondido and Fagnano. Continuing towards Tolhuin, nature expands and the mountains soften in a slow golden transition to the steppe.
