Travel the mythical Route 40

Set out on a dreamlike road trip along National Route 40, the longest route in Argentina and one of the most significant in the world. It stretches over more than 5 thousand kilometres from south to north through spellbinding endless landscapes.

Traverse the immense Steppe; reach the glaciers and mountains of the Southern Patagonia; get to the forests and lakes of the Andean Patagonia; connect cities, towns and villages; reach red deserts, volcanic fields and the Andes Mountain Range peaks covered with eternal snow; enter the Puna at Abra del Acay, at nearly 4,900 metres above sea level, and travel the last gravel sections. Dare to live the adventure of your life on this mythical route.

Where: National Route 40 starts in the province of Santa Cruz and ends in Jujuy, passing through Chubut, Río Negro, Neuquén, Mendoza, San Juan, La Rioja, Catamarca, Tucumán and Salta.

When: All year round (as it traverses different regions, it is convenient to check the condition of the route beforehand and plan the trip according to the section that you want to travel)
